About

The Vox Collective presents a unique opportunity for students to develop their oratorical skills through CCA. As a CCA, we provide a vital platform for students to practice expressing their thoughts clearly, articulately, and persuasively. During weekly sessions, participants are introduced to fundamental debate and speechcraft techniques, with training exercises designed to cultivate adaptive thinking and improve quick-witted improvisation. The sessions naturally challenge students to step beyond their comfort zones and practice crafting logical arguments, often involving in-depth discussions about current affairs and relevant social issues to foster a broader understanding of the world. Beyond formal speaking, students acquire valuable soft skills, including improved time-management and communication abilities, which contribute to the development of self-confidence. Ultimately, The Vox Collective aims to be a supportive community where students learn the value of open-mindedness and mutual respect while having opportunities to bond and practice essential life skills.
