About

The sport of Shooting is primarily a mental sport where concentration levels are sharpened and expanded. This is a healthy and enjoyable sport, which can help build many physical disciplines such as increased strength, improved stamina, elevated hand-eye coordination and fine motor skills.

Objectives

Started in 2004, the Shooting CCA aims to

• cultivate interest and skills of students in shooting

• develop team spirit, character and leadership qualities of students via shooting

Activities

• Secondary 1 CCA experience

• Nanyang Technological University Invitational Shoot Competition

• National University of Singapore Invitational Shoot Competition

• Team-bonding activities

• Internal trials cum progress check

• Graduating cohort farewell activity

• Training at Safra Yishun Country Club Indoor Rifle Range
