The CHIJ SJC Angklung & Kulintang Ensemble “Plays Together, Shakes as One”.  It is made up of a team of talented and young individuals who play a range of instruments, including several angklungs on a rack at the same time, to create harmonic musical pieces. Members of the SJC Angklung and Kulintang Ensemble are committed to uphold the Distinction standard in SYF competitions and external performances. With the guidance of our Instructor, every new musical piece is a challenge waiting to be explored.


OBJECTIVES

    • To enable members to cultivate an appreciation for the performing arts and live up to our school vision: “Women of Integrity with the Passion to Pursue Excellence”.
    • To provide opportunities for members to develop their leadership skills through platforms such as facilitating in sectional trainings as well as organising CCA camps.
