Debate Circle

About
In SJC’s Debate Circle, we aim to create a communications culture through exposure. Every member in SJC’s Debate Circle undergoes rigorous training that develops her critical and creative thinking skills. Starting off with acquiring current affairs knowledge and general public speaking skills for all, members progress to specialise in public speaking, competitive debating, problem solving, or programme management. Students develop their communication and leadership skills over the years. Senior members are trained to teach and mentor their juniors. At the end of their 4 or 5 years with Debate Circle, students are enriched and leave as confident and eloquent individuals.
